Flexible panels are significantly lighter and have a much lower profile, making them ideal for weight-sensitive roofs, caravans and touring vehicles. Framed panels are generally more rigid and can benefit from better airflow underneath. The best choice comes down to your available space, roof load limits and mounting requirements.

Flexible solar panels can be installed on a variety of surfaces, including 4WD and caravan roofs, camper trailers and boats. Depending on the panel and mounting surface, installation methods can include high-bond adhesive tape, suitable adhesives or mechanical fixings.
