VE.Direct to Bluetooth Smart Dongle 

The Victron VE.Direct to Bluetooth Smart Dongle enables wireless monitoring of your Victron devices. Once connected to a compatible product’s VE.Direct port, you can view real-time system information on iOS, Android, and macOS using the VictronConnect App. Instantly access data such as battery status, solar charging performance, inverter details, warnings, and historical information — all from your smartphone.

Compatibility

The dongle works with all Victron products equipped with a VE.Direct port, including:

• BMV-70x series battery monitors (BMV-700 / 702)

• BlueSolar MPPT Solar Charge Controllers

• Phoenix Inverters with VE.Direct port

• SmartShunt (if you require a display-based readout via VictronConnect)

Note: Victron SmartSolar MPPTs and the BMV-712 already have built-in Bluetooth and do not require this dongle.

Key Features

Wireless Data Viewing

Adds Bluetooth capabilities to non-smart Victron devices, to view real-time and historical data from BlueSolar MPPTs, Phoenix Inverters, BMV monitors, and more. Monitoring available via the free VictronConnect App.

VE.Smart Networking

Enables wireless communication between supported Victron products. Products can share information such as battery temperature, voltage, and current to improve charging performance. Refer to the VE.Smart Networking Manual for full compatibility and limitations.

Instant Readout Mode

When connected, key device data appears directly in the VictronConnect “Device List” without needing to pair each time. This provides quick system insight: voltages, power, state of charge, alarms, warnings, and error notifications. Requires product firmware v2.41 or later (see VictronConnect manual for upgrading).

Cross-Platform Compatibility

Use your smartphone, tablet, or laptop for easy wireless access. Compatible with iOS, Android, and macOS.

Status Indicators

Two onboard LEDs display Bluetooth status and error/warning conditions for quick diagnostics.

Security

Features a physical PIN reset button to clear the pairing code and secure your system when changing ownership or installing in shared applications.
