For the heavy 4WDs, trucks and loaded touring setups, the Saber Offroad Ultimate Recovery Kit 16K brings together the gear needed for both kinetic and winch recoveries in one organised package. At the centre of the kit is a 9m 16,000kg heavy-duty kinetic recovery rope, backed up by twin 20,000kg HDX soft shackles, a 24,000kg sheathed soft shackle, 20m winch extension rope, tree trunk protector and Saber's 12,500kg WLL Ezy-Glide Recovery Ring. A winch dampener, gloves and dedicated recovery bag round out the kit. The 16K kit is suitable for vehicles in the approximate 5.3–8 tonne range, making it the heavier-duty choice in the Ultimate Recovery Kit lineup.

Built for Heavier Recoveries

Once vehicle weight climbs, recovery loads increase quickly. That makes correctly matched recovery equipment even more important. The 16K kit steps up to a 16,000kg kinetic rope and 13,200kg winch extension rope, giving it additional capacity for heavier touring vehicles, trucks and commercial-style setups in the 5.3–8 tonne range. 

Kinetic Recovery

The included 9m 16,000kg kinetic rope is designed to stretch under load and progressively transfer energy between vehicles during a kinetic recovery. Compared with a low-stretch connection, this helps deliver the recovery force more progressively when used correctly and with suitable rated recovery points. For heavy vehicles, correct recovery planning becomes especially important, so always make sure the rope and all connection points are appropriate for the vehicles involved.

Heavy-Duty Soft Recovery Connections

The kit includes two 20,000kg HDX Technora-bound soft shackles for primary recovery connections, plus an additional 24,000kg soft shackle with protective sheath for high-load applications. Using appropriately rated soft recovery gear can help reduce the amount of heavy steel hardware carried in the vehicle while keeping the kit easier to handle and pack.

Ezy-Glide Recovery Ring

The12,500kg WLL Ezy-Glide Recovery Ring is included for compatible synthetic winch recovery setups. The lightweight ring can be used to redirect a winch line or configure an appropriate mechanical-advantage recovery while avoiding the weight and bulk of a traditional steel snatch block.

Winch Extension and Tree Protection

A 20m 13,200kg SaberPro winch extension rope gives you additional reach when the available recovery anchor is beyond the length of your winch line. The included 5m 13,000kg tree trunk protector provides a wider connection around suitable trees rather than wrapping synthetic winch rope directly around the trunk.

Everything in One Bag

The complete kit is stored in Saber's Ultimate Recovery Gear Bag, keeping the rope, shackles, ring and supporting recovery equipment together. At 12.2kg for the full kit, you get a substantial amount of recovery capability without needing to build the setup one component at a time.
