Designed Around Soft Shackles

Rather than designing the hitch around a conventional steel bow shackle, Saber has shaped the recovery eye specifically for synthetic recovery equipment. The large, smooth bend radius allows a soft shackle to sit naturally through the hitch without being forced around a tight edge, helping distribute the load more evenly through the fibres. This hitch is intended for use with compatible soft shackles rather than adding another heavy steel connection into the recovery system.

20,000kg Minimum Breaking Strength

Despite weighing just 1.29kg, the Saber Aluminium Recovery Hitch carries a 20,000kg minimum breaking strength. That gives you substantial recovery capacity without the weight associated with many traditional steel receiver hitches. Remember that the hitch rating doesn't increase the capacity of the towbar or vehicle it's fitted to. The receiver, towbar mounting, soft shackle and every other component in the recovery system must also be appropriate for the recovery being performed.

Fits Standard 50mm Tow Hitch Receivers

The hitch is designed for standard 50 × 50mm / 2" tow hitch receivers. It can also be installed on either the horizontal or vertical axis where the receiver configuration allows, giving you more flexibility in how the soft shackle sits through the recovery eye. Always confirm that the receiver and towbar assembly are appropriately rated and suitable for recovery use before connecting recovery equipment.

The recovery performance and 20,000kg minimum breaking strength remain the same across the colour range. The coloured versions use premium Prismatic Powder finishes, while Black uses a Cerakote ceramic coating. Both finishing systems are selected for durability and UV stability.

Lightweight Billet Aluminium Construction
