Saber 15K Soft Shackle - 5 Colours

A soft shackle is one of the easiest ways to reduce unnecessary weight and bulky steel hardware in your recovery kit. The Saber 15K Soft Shackle is manufactured from SaberPro fibre and carries a 15,000kg minimum breaking strength, giving you a strong, lightweight connection for suitably rated 4WD recovery points. Available in Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink and Purple, all five colours offer the same recovery rating and construction, making it easy to match your recovery gear or simply choose your favourite colour.

Strong Without the Bulk

Despite weighing only around 200g, the Saber 15K Soft Shackle carries a 15,000kg minimum breaking strength. That makes it considerably easier to carry and handle than traditional steel recovery hardware, particularly when you're building a touring setup where payload and storage space both matter.

SaberPro Fibre

The shackle is manufactured from Saber's proprietary SaberPro fibre, chosen for its high tensile strength along with resistance to abrasion and impact. Its flexible synthetic construction also makes the shackle easier to wrap through suitable recovery points, recovery rings and other compatible recovery equipment.

Use with Suitable Recovery Points

These shackles do not include an external protective sheath, so particular attention should be paid to the recovery point they are being connected to. Use them only with properly rated recovery points that provide a smooth contact surface and suitable bend radius. Avoid sharp edges, burrs, damaged recovery points or anything that could cut or excessively abrade the fibres. Inspect the shackle before and after each recovery and retire it if you find cuts, damaged fibres or significant abrasion.

Easy to Keep in the Recovery Kit

Soft shackles take up very little room compared with equivalent steel recovery hardware and don't rattle around in drawers or recovery bags. After use in mud or sand, clean them as required and allow them to dry before putting them back into storage.
