Hulk 4x4 50A Anderson Style to Battery Clamp Cable

The Hulk 4x4 50A Anderson Style to Battery Clamp Cable provides a quick way to connect compatible 12V equipment directly to a battery without permanently installing another socket or cable.

The 300mm lead uses heavy duty red and black 8AWG cable, with a grey 50A Anderson style connector at one end and insulated red and black battery clamps at the other.

It is particularly useful for portable touring equipment, temporary battery connections, testing and workshop use where a secure direct connection to battery terminals is required.

Quick Battery Connection

The red and black clamps allow compatible equipment to be connected directly to exposed battery terminals without tools. The red clamp connects to battery positive and the black clamp to battery negative. Always confirm polarity before making the connection, particularly when using equipment that may not have reverse polarity protection.

50A Anderson Style Connection

The opposite end of the lead uses a grey 50A Anderson style connector, allowing it to connect with compatible portable power equipment, chargers, battery accessories and other 12V devices. The genderless housing design makes it easy to connect to matching grey 50A plugs already used throughout many caravan, camper and 4WD electrical systems.

Heavy Duty 8AWG Cable

The cable assembly uses red and black 8AWG conductors over a compact 300mm length. Keeping the cable short helps minimise unnecessary resistance and voltage drop while making the lead easy to store with portable electrical equipment. Hulk specifies the cable connections as soldered, clamped and insulated.

Insulated Battery Clamps

The battery clamps feature rubber covered handles to provide a more secure grip and help reduce accidental contact around the battery terminals. The clamps should only be attached to clean, accessible terminals with enough contact area for a secure connection.

Temporary and Portable Applications

This lead is useful for applications such as portable 12V accessories, battery testing equipment, temporary auxiliary power connections and workshop setups. Because the clamps connect directly to the battery, suitable circuit protection should be provided by the connected equipment or installed in the circuit as required. The lead should not be left permanently connected where the clamps may loosen, become exposed or contact surrounding metalwork.
