The Saber Offroad 22K Heavy Duty Kinetic Recovery Kit is built for serious recoveries involving large, heavy vehicles where a standard 4WD kinetic kit simply isn’t enough. At the centre of the kit is a 9m, 22,000kg kinetic recovery rope made from heavy-duty Nylon 66, paired with two 24,000kg HDX Technora-bound soft shackles and a dedicated recovery gear bag. Saber recommends this kit for large vehicles with a GVM or GCM in the approximate 7,500–11,000kg range.

As vehicle weight increases, recovery forces climb quickly. This is where correctly matched recovery gear becomes especially important.

The 22K kit is aimed at heavy 4WDs, trucks, agricultural vehicles and commercial setups where the recovery loads sit well above typical recreational 4WD territory. Saber lists the kit for vehicles with a GVM or GCM of roughly 7,500–11,000kg.

22,000kg Kinetic Recovery Rope

The included 9m kinetic rope has a 22,000kg minimum breaking strength and is designed to stretch under load, storing and then progressively transferring energy to the stuck vehicle. Saber states the rope can stretch by up to 50%, helping reduce the sharp shock loading associated with lower-stretch recovery methods. The rope is made from Nylon 66 with an outer treatment designed to resist UV, moisture, dirt, sand and abrasion.

Twin 24,000kg HDX Soft Shackles

Two 24,000kg HDX Technora-bound soft shackles are included for the primary recovery connections. These provide a high-capacity, lightweight alternative to traditional steel shackles where suitable soft-shackle-compatible recovery points are available.
