Exotronic 75W Fusion N-Type TOPCon Fixed Solar Panel

The Exotronic 75W Fusion Fixed Solar Panel packs 75W of solar into a compact 670 × 555mm footprint, making it a practical option for 4WDs, caravans, campers and other installations where usable roof space is limited.

Using N-Type TOPCon solar cells, the panel combines good power density with a slim 25mm black aluminium frame and durable tempered glass construction. Its relatively small size also makes it useful for filling awkward roof spaces around roof vents, hatches, antennas and other equipment where a larger panel may not fit.

N-Type TOPCon Cell Technology

The Fusion Series uses N-Type TOPCon solar cells with a stated cell efficiency of 25.2%. TOPCon technology uses a passivated contact structure to reduce electrical losses within the cell, helping improve power density and long term performance compared with older solar cell technologies.

N-Type cells are also less susceptible to some common degradation mechanisms associated with traditional P-Type cells, making them well suited to permanent vehicle, caravan and off grid installations. The quoted 25.2% figure refers to the efficiency of the solar cells themselves rather than the complete assembled panel.

Suited to 12V Solar Systems

The panel operates at 21.6V at maximum power with an open circuit voltage of 25.2V, making it suitable for charging 12V battery systems through an appropriately selected solar regulator.

For larger systems, matching panels can also be wired in series or parallel where the resulting array voltage and current remain within the limits of the selected solar controller. Always check the controller's maximum PV input voltage, current and power limits before connecting an array.

Built for Permanent Outdoor Installation

The panel uses a 3.2mm tempered glass front with a black anodised aluminium frame for strength and corrosion resistance. The junction box is rated IP68, while the panel is also specified for salt mist and ammonia resistance, making it suitable for exposed touring, coastal and off grid environments. Mechanical load ratings of up to 2400Pa wind and 5400Pa snow provide additional durability for permanent installations.

MC4 Compatible Connections

An 800mm fly lead with MC4 compatible connectors provides a familiar connection method for permanent solar installations. Appropriately rated solar cable, connectors, circuit protection and a compatible regulator should be used throughout the installation.
