The Exotronic 12V 100Ah Alpha Series Lithium Battery packs 100Ah of usable LiFePO4 capacity into a seriously compact footprint, making it a great option for 4WD canopies, caravans, camper trailers, boats and other installations where space is limited.

Inside, A-grade aluminium-cased prismatic cells are managed by a 100A JBD Battery Management System with 1.2A active cell balancing, while Bluetooth monitoring gives you a clear view of what the battery is doing from your phone. An integrated on/off/reset button also makes it easy to isolate the battery or reset the BMS if it trips.

Add IP67 dust and water protection, solid brass terminals and support for series or parallel expansion, and the Alpha 100Ah is a compact battery built for demanding off-grid setups.

Compact Power Where Space Matters

At just 220mm long and 130mm wide, the Alpha 100Ah is particularly useful in builds where every bit of space counts.

Its compact dimensions make it easier to fit into 4WD canopies, camper trailers, caravans, boats and custom electrical systems without giving up the usable capacity expected from a full-size 100Ah lithium battery.

At 11.2kg, it also delivers a substantial weight saving compared with traditional lead-acid deep-cycle batteries of similar usable capacity.

IP67 Protection for Tougher Installations

The sealed ABS housing carries an IP67 rating, providing a high level of protection against dust and water ingress.

That makes the Alpha Series well suited to touring and marine environments where batteries may be exposed to dust, moisture and changing conditions.

The battery should still be installed correctly and given the required ventilation clearance, and it is not designed for under-bonnet use.

Bluetooth Battery Monitoring

The integrated JBD BMS includes Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to monitor the battery directly from a compatible smartphone.

Through the Exotronic Alpha Series Battery App you can view information including:

• State of charge
• Charge and discharge current
• Individual cell voltages
• Battery temperature
• Charge and discharge MOSFET status
• Active alarms and protection events

It gives you a much clearer picture of what's happening inside the battery than relying on voltage alone.

On/Off/Reset at the Battery

A physical control button on the battery makes isolation and BMS resets straightforward.

Press the button in to turn the battery on, release it to turn the battery off, or press it twice to reset the battery following a BMS trip.

The battery may also be recovered using a compatible lithium charger with dark-start capability where appropriate.

Built-In Battery Protection

The integrated JBD BMS continuously protects the battery against common electrical and temperature-related faults, including:

• Excessive charge current
• Excessive discharge current
• Short circuits
• High and low cell voltage
• High and low temperature conditions

The 1.2A active cell balancer also helps keep individual cells closely matched, supporting consistent performance across the battery pack.

Expand Your System

Need more capacity later? Up to four batteries of the same model can be connected in parallel, while up to four can also be connected in series where the installation complies with Exotronic's wiring requirements.

Always refer to the battery manual before configuring multiple batteries, particularly for larger series/parallel banks.

Important Installation Note

This is a deep-cycle lithium battery and is not designed for engine starting or cranking applications.

It is also not intended for installation under the bonnet. Allow at least 10mm clearance around the battery for ventilation and install it in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
