Lifting a 70 Series LandCruiser changes more than just ride height. As the front suspension moves away from its factory position, castor angle is reduced, which can affect steering feel, straight-line stability and how naturally the steering returns to centre. The CalOffroad 2 Degree Radius Arm Castor Bush Kit is designed to help correct this geometry on Toyota LandCruiser 76, 78 and 79 Series vehicles running approximately 2–3" of suspension lift. Made from high-grade rubber, the offset bushes provide castor correction while retaining the quieter, more compliant characteristics of a rubber suspension bush.

Why Castor Correction Matters

When a solid-axle LandCruiser is lifted, the radius arms rotate the front differential housing and reduce positive castor. Too little castor can leave the steering feeling lighter or less settled, particularly at highway speeds, and may reduce the steering's tendency to naturally return towards centre after a turn. Offset radius arm bushes reposition the radius arm relative to the axle housing, helping restore some of the castor lost through the suspension lift.

Designed for 2–3" Lifted 70 Series

This 2 degree kit is intended for LandCruiser 76, 78 and 79 Series vehicles with approximately 2–3" of suspension lift. Actual castor requirements can vary depending on vehicle weight, suspension components, measured ride height and existing front-end geometry, so a wheel alignment is recommended when determining the correction required for a particular vehicle.
