BMPRO ProSmart Standard Bluetooth RV Monitoring System

The BMPRO ProSmart Standard gives you a complete app based monitoring system for your caravan, camper, 4WD or boat without needing an existing BMPRO control system already installed. At the centre of the kit is the SmartLink, a 12V powered communication hub that connects to the ProSmart app on your phone. From there you can monitor tyre pressure, tyre temperature, LPG bottle level, fridge or cabin temperature, battery voltage and up to four water tanks from one system.

The Standard kit includes the SmartLink, two SmartPressure tyre sensors, one SmartSense gas bottle sensor, one wireless SmartTemp sensor and one wired temperature sensor, giving you a useful monitoring setup straight out of the box while still leaving plenty of room to expand later.

A Standalone Smart Monitoring System

Unlike SmartConnect, ProSmart does not require a compatible JHub, Odyssey or other BMPRO control system. The SmartLink is the central hub for the system. It connects directly to a 12V supply and communicates with the ProSmart app over Bluetooth, making it particularly useful for retrofitting smart monitoring into an existing caravan, camper, boat or 4WD. The ProSmart app is currently compatible with iOS 13 or later and Android 8 or later.

Monitor Up to 40 Bluetooth Sensors

The SmartLink can pair with up to 40 compatible Bluetooth sensors. That means the system can grow well beyond the sensors included in the Standard kit. Additional SmartPressure, SmartSense and SmartTemp sensors can be added later as your setup changes. Up to four mobile devices can also be paired with the SmartLink, allowing more than one person to access the system.

Tyre Pressure and Temperature Monitoring

Two SmartPressure sensors are supplied in the kit. They mount externally onto the tyre valves and monitor both tyre pressure and internal tyre temperature, giving you a clearer picture of what the tyres are doing while travelling. Each sensor supports pressures up to 99PSI.

LPG Bottle Level Monitoring

The included SmartSense sensor attaches underneath a compatible LPG cylinder and uses ultrasonic measurement to determine the remaining liquid level. This gives you a much more useful indication of how much gas is left than simply relying on bottle weight or waiting until the cylinder runs empty.

Wireless and Wired Temperature Monitoring

ProSmart Standard includes both a wireless SmartTemp sensor and a wired temperature sensor. The wireless sensor can be positioned in a fridge, freezer, cabin or storage area, while the wired sensor gives you another temperature monitoring point without using one of the Bluetooth sensor positions.

Battery Voltage Monitoring

Because the SmartLink connects directly to the 12V electrical system, the ProSmart app can also display battery voltage. This gives you a basic indication of battery condition alongside the rest of the vehicle or caravan monitoring information. It is important to note that ProSmart measures battery voltage rather than performing full shunt based state of charge monitoring.

Up to Four Water Tanks

The SmartLink has provision for monitoring up to four water tanks. Compatible tank level sensors such as BMPRO Dippers are required separately, so the Standard kit does not include water tank sensors out of the box.

This gives you the option to add fresh water, grey water or other tank monitoring later without replacing the SmartLink.

Bluetooth Range

BMPRO specifies Bluetooth operation up to approximately 20 metres in direct line of sight. Actual range will vary with caravan construction, walls, metal structures, sensor position, the phone being used and other sources of interference. Mounting the SmartLink away from large conductive or metal objects can help improve wireless performance.
