These aluminium solar panel mounting brackets provide a strong, reliable solution for securing glass-faced solar panels to roofs and other flat substrates. Manufactured from lightweight yet robust aluminium, they’re designed to withstand harsh touring conditions while keeping installation simple and serviceable.

Available in black or silver, these brackets suit caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, marine installations and off-grid builds where a clean, low-profile mounting solution is required.

What’s Included

Each kit includes all required mounting hardware:

• 4 × stainless steel bolts, washers and nuts

• 8 × coarse-thread black tech screws (for roof/substrate mounting)

• 8 × fine-thread black tech screws (for panel attachment)

Adhesive required:
Installation requires a suitable adhesive such as Sikaflex or Fix15 (not included).

Installation Overview

Installation is straightforward and adaptable to different panel and roof types:

1. Position the brackets on the solar panel.

2. Attach brackets to the panel using one of the following methods:

   • Supplied bolts via factory-machined panel holes

   • Fine-thread tech screws after pre-drilling

   • A combination of bolts and fine-thread tech screws after pre-drilling

3. Position the panel on the roof or substrate and mark hole locations.

4. Pre-drill the marked locations.

5. Clean both the bracket base and substrate thoroughly using isopropyl alcohol.

6. Apply adhesive to fully cover the underside of each bracket.

7. Secure brackets using the coarse-thread tech screws (typically suitable for fibreglass, timber and similar roof types — always confirm compatibility).

8. Optionally apply additional adhesive over the bracket base and screw heads to create a sealed, watertight installation.

Designed for Easy Future Removal

The kit includes separate tech screws for roof mounting and panel mounting, allowing the solar panel to be removed later without disturbing the roof fixings. Please note that pre-drilling the solar panel is required when using tech screws.
