Support one of the highest loaded sections of your LandCruiser chassis with these rear vertical chassis reinforcement plates. Designed for 80 and 105 Series LandCruisers, these weld-in plates provide additional vertical reinforcement between the upper link cross member and lower link chassis mounts, helping strengthen the chassis in vehicles carrying constant loads or operating in demanding conditions.

Manufactured with precision in Newcastle, NSW by the team at Rampt Customs, each plate is CNC cut from 4mm mild steel for excellent strength, consistent fitment and straightforward installation by a qualified fabricator or welder.

These reinforcement plates are particularly well suited to vehicles with dual cab conversions, increased GVMs, heavy touring setups and work vehicles where additional chassis support may be beneficial.

Available Options

Short Version

Designed to fit between the upper link crossmember and the lower link chassis mounts, providing additional vertical support through this highly stressed section of the chassis.

Long Version

Extends approximately 175mm forward of the lower link mount, increasing the reinforced area for vehicles subjected to higher chassis loads.

Welding Preparation

These plates are supplied as plasma-cut components. Plasma cutting leaves a thin nitrided layer along the cut edge, which should be lightly cleaned or ground prior to welding to achieve the best weld quality. Leaving this coating in place can reduce weld quality in a similar way to welding over a painted surface.
