50A Anderson Style Piggyback Double Adaptor Cable - Hulk 4x4

The Hulk 4x4 50A Piggyback Cable provides a compact way to connect two compatible Anderson style connections to a single vehicle or auxiliary power connection.

Using heavy duty red and black 8AWG cable with three grey 50A connectors, the 300mm assembly is particularly useful on caravans and trailers where a single vehicle connection may need to supply both an auxiliary power circuit and another compatible connection such as a breakaway system. Its short cable length keeps the connection tidy without adding unnecessary cable around the drawbar, canopy or battery system.

One Connection, Two Outputs

The assembly connects one grey 50A Anderson style plug to two matching grey 50A connectors. This allows two compatible circuits or accessories to share a common power connection without continually swapping plugs.

It can be particularly handy on caravan and trailer setups where more than one Anderson connection is required at the tow vehicle.

Heavy Duty 8AWG Cable

The adaptor uses red and black sheathed 8AWG cable between the connectors. At approximately 300mm long, it provides enough flexibility to separate the connections while keeping the installation compact and easy to manage.

The cable is suited to typical 12V and 24V auxiliary power applications when used within the current limits of the complete circuit.

50A Grey Anderson Style Connections

Three grey 50A Anderson style connectors are fitted to the cable assembly. The genderless connector design allows compatible grey housings to mate together regardless of which side of the circuit they are installed on.

Always make sure connector colour, housing size and contact configuration match the equipment already fitted to the vehicle, caravan or accessory.

Combined Current Still Matters

Although each connector is described as 50A, connecting two loads does not create a 100A supply. The shared cable and common connection carry the combined current of both connected circuits, so the upstream cable, connector contacts, fuse or circuit breaker and power source must all be capable of handling the total load. Individual branch protection may also be appropriate depending on the equipment connected.

Caravan and Touring Applications

This piggyback adaptor is particularly useful for setups such as:

• caravan auxiliary power and breakaway connections
• dual accessory connections from a single vehicle outlet
• temporary touring power distribution
• canopy and camper auxiliary power systems
