Better Performance When Shade Gets in the Way

Shade is one of the biggest challenges for portable solar. Trees, your vehicle, awnings and other campsite equipment can all cast shadows across a panel as the sun moves throughout the day.

The Fusion 200W is constructed from two independently wired 100W sections, helping reduce the effect that shading one section can have on the other.

It doesn't make the panel immune to shade, but it can provide a worthwhile advantage in real-world conditions where maintaining perfect, uninterrupted sunlight isn't always possible.

High-Efficiency TOPCon Solar

The Fusion uses 25.2% efficient TOPCon solar cells to generate more energy from the available panel area.

Higher cell efficiency allows Exotronic to achieve substantial output from a relatively compact portable panel, while TOPCon technology also provides strong low-light performance and improved energy generation during cloudy weather, early mornings and late afternoons.

Traditional Glass Construction

While Exotronic's Ultra-Light Fusion range uses ETFE to minimise weight, this version sticks with a more traditional 3.2mm tempered-glass surface and black anodised aluminium frame.

That gives it the solid feel and structural rigidity many people still prefer in a portable folding panel, particularly when it's going to see regular use around campsites, worksites and touring setups.

Protective corners, folding support legs, secure latches and an integrated carry handle complete the briefcase-style design.

Park in the Shade, Put Your Solar in the Sun

One of the biggest advantages of portable solar is being able to separate your solar collection from where you actually park.

Leave the 4WD, caravan or camper somewhere comfortable, then position the Fusion panel out where it's getting good sunlight. As shadows move throughout the day, you can simply reposition the panel rather than accepting reduced output from a permanently mounted array.

Once you're finished, fold it away into the supplied padded carry bag and it's ready for the next stop.

Connection Kit Included

The Fusion 200W comes with a versatile cable kit designed to make integration into an existing touring power system easier.

Included are:

• 5m 4mm² PV1-F tinned copper marine cable with MC4 to 50A grey Anderson connector
• Two 50A grey Anderson connection tails
• 50A grey Anderson to alligator clip lead with 30A fuse

The use of tinned copper cable provides additional corrosion resistance, which is particularly useful in touring and marine environments.

Always ensure the connection method is appropriate for your charging system. A suitable solar regulator must be used between the solar panel and battery unless the equipment you're connecting to already incorporates a compatible solar charge controller.

This version of the Exotronic 200W Fusion Portable Folding Solar Panel is supplied without a solar charge controller.

A suitable solar regulator is required when connecting the panel to a battery unless your DC-DC charger, power station or other charging system already incorporates a compatible solar regulator.
