The Exotronic 12V 200Ah Alpha Series Smart LiFePO4 battery is built for high-demand touring, marine and off-grid systems where durability and consistent output matter. With IP67 water and dust protection, real-time Bluetooth monitoring and a powerful 200A JBD BMS, it delivers serious performance in a compact, space-efficient design.

Designed for caravans, 4WD builds, marine installations and backup power systems, this battery provides 0–100% usable capacity and dependable high-current output for demanding applications.

IP67 Rated Protection

The IP67 rating means the battery is fully dust-tight and water-resistant, capable of withstanding temporary immersion in up to 1 metre of water for 30 minutes. This level of sealing makes it ideal for marine environments, canopy installs and exposed off-grid systems.

Ultra-Compact High Output Design

Despite its compact footprint, this unit delivers 200Ah of storage and up to 200A continuous discharge. It pairs well with inverter systems up to approximately 2000W (system dependent), making it suitable for higher-demand touring setups.

Important: Not designed for engine starting or under-bonnet applications. This battery is intended for deep cycle energy storage only.

Advanced Safety and Battery Protection

LiFePO4 chemistry provides excellent thermal stability and inherent safety compared to other lithium technologies.

Additional safety features include:

• Heavy-duty ABS casing for impact resistance
• Internal rupture discs for pressure relief
• Protection against overcharge, over-discharge and short circuit
• Overcurrent protection (charge and discharge)
• High and low temperature protection
• Cell voltage management via integrated BMS

Low State of Charge Warning

The built-in 10% State of Charge audible and visual alert helps prevent unexpected shutdowns and confusion between low battery and system faults.

Low Resistance Connections

Solid brass terminals with brass bolts, washers and spring washers reduce voltage drop, losses and heat build-up at connection points.

Expandable System Design

Supports:

• Up to 4 batteries in parallel
• Up to 4 batteries in series
• Up to 16 batteries total (4P x 4S configuration)

This allows scalable energy storage for larger off-grid or mobile systems.

Storage and Maintenance

No memory effect. For long-term storage, a maintenance charge approximately every three months is recommended.

Long Service Life

Engineered for up to 3,000 full discharge cycles, delivering an expected lifespan of 10–12 years or more in many real-world applications.

On/Off/Reset Operation

• Press once to turn the battery on
• Depress to turn it off
• Press twice to reset after a trip event
• Alternatively, connect a dark-start capable lithium charger

Bluetooth Smart

The Exotronic BMS includes Bluetooth, allowing real time viewing of the individual cell voltages, battery temperature, current, state of charge, state of the charge/discharge MOSFETs and alarms.
